Bongo Post & Music is a full service Video and Audio post-production shop - part of a new generation of editorial, graphics and sound houses that combine the dynamics of a small creative studio with the most current technology. Along with the Post Bongo has expanded into shooting with Bongo Films on board in 2007. Greg Dowden formerly of Digital Domain and Colorado FX in LA has come on as Executive Producer for Films.Our goal is to provide a place that inspires the creative mind to explore, innovate and “ReThink the Obvious”. To re think the creative ideas brought to us by the client, we implore all creative staff to not only think outside the box, but redefine what that box is; to challenge the norms, inspire alternative thinking, throw away the obvious and the cliché’s and ReThink the Obvious.
Bongo Post began in 1990 as an Audio Post and Original music shop focusing on alternative ways of incorporating Audio Dialog, Sound Design and Music into the Post Production process. Bongo was the first shop in Northern California to incorporate Audio Post and Music into the Video Post workflow. Bongo Post moved into its current UK Architect designed facilities in midtown Sacramento in 2001 with the integration of full Video Editing, Motion Graphics, Audio Post / Sound Design and Music recording Suites all under one roof. While incorporating the workflow only found in the upper scale facilities of LA, NY, SF, Bongo found a growing client base of high end Advertising, Corporate, State and Federal Government agencies flocking to its doors. While instituting Post Production producers, administrative staff, and a client-favorite Kitchen facility with an on-staff chef, Bongo has been forming a unique facility and a unique brand. With attention to detail within its core structure and Research and Development of new tools and software, we have stayed far ahead of the industry norms while implementing new ideas and creative input. Our staff is culled from experienced high-end major market companies from LA, SF, Miami, London and Sweden.
